Fantasy Football Keepers for Next Year?

Chris Johnson is definitely a keeper. You got him late in the draft, if not in FA. The next choice is tougher. Manning should be a better player next year since this year has been injury plagued. I think Lee Evans is a great athlete, but he is staying put in Buffalo, and until they get a franchise QB I'm weary of anybody on that team (look at Lynch this year). So, I would have to lean with Peyton Manning to keep. He's a late 1st or 2nd round pick in a normal draft. He seems like the only logical choice.

I'm looking for a digital camera that can withstand water, mud, slime, etc. It's summer and I've been cat fishing it up... Ok so my friend thinks she needs to get another rat. Within the last year or so she has boughten many rats.The first one, Chester, lived for a long time and died of old age. Then she got 2 more keiko and yuki. Yuki died soon after she got him and then she got a new rat jiro. After this Keiko died and she got a new rat Teddy. After this Jiro died and now she wants to get another new 1. I'm telling her not to because there seems to be a pattern going on here. But she says it is just because of her bad luck. Baby kicking?? is this how it feels?

When your baby kicks... its not really like a kick. It is alot like gas bubbles in the beginning. As time goes on it will be like rolling movements. It will be very obvious that they are moving in there because you'll eventually be able to see your belly morph from the outside. Kicks to me has just been a term for fetal movement. While I've seen him kick around during an ultrasound I never felt him actually "Kick" me. But I have felt him roll around alot. Gas bubbles and like a muscle twitching ( much like an eye twitching feeling) are the best way to describe it in the beginning. Good Luck.

Need some new music to download?

Interesting music taste you have. If you like rock groups (non-electronic bands) then you might like some slightly more progressive styles of rock. There is some really weird progressive stuff out there, but a lot of it is great to listen to. My favourite progressive band would be Porcupine Tree, look up their album "In Absentia". They do some heavy stuff and some really light stuff as well. If you are wanting some chilled out music, you could try AIR (they aren't as prog. as Porcupine Tree) try the album "Moon Safari". If you want more electronic stuff, and want to keep it chilled as well, try Mive Attack. Their genre is Trip-Hop mainly. It's very laid back and quite "trippy". But the band uses really soulful melodies and southing rhythms and i love it. Leftfield is very similar to Mive Attack. As of late I have been getting really heavily into soundtrack music. Since I love electronic music (and Daft Punk) the TRON Legacy album written by Daft Punk appealed. As did the soundtrack from Pixar's UP. Another branch of that would be an artist called POGO. He takes sound effects, vocal samples and songs from movies and turns them into really cool tunes. He is on youtube, my two favourites are his remix of UP and Alice in Wonderland. So back to the kind of bands you listed above, there was an American/New Zealand band called Atlas that released a very good album called "Reasons for Voyaging", they are a rock band and have really cool tunes, could try them out if my other suggestions are a little wild :) Hope that helps! Oh one more thing, the site Last.fm (no .com or anything just .fm) is an awesome site that helps you find music that you would like based on the music genres you listen to often. I found a lot of my (now) favourite bands and songs using this site. Give it try! :)

Different strokes for different folks as I see it. But, I get told often that I am the way I am because the music influences me to feel a certain way. Thin set or mastic... which is best for tile in a shower?

I have been told by a lowe's rep that mastic is best to use in a shower, but have read in a pro book that thin set with a latex additive is best...However, every thinset I have looked at says not to use in a shower? In addition, I am using 4x4 tile; every thinset says to use on 8x8 tile or larger...?? I love volleyball, and play it all the time. I am quite good. I am almost fourteen. But I want to take volleyball to the next level and improve my spiking. I keep finding clubs that are for beginners and are too easy- or clubs that are for high schoolers that are too hard. Do you know a club that lets my age group in that competes? Something new and challenging? One that's in the Twin Cities area (within 25 miles)?

We know through our family history that they fought to protect their farms and families from a Northern invasion. They would not have fought to protect an institution from which they did not benefit. This young sir is fact not fiction and is historically doented in letters from that time. The war was about politics as wars are usually about. If the war was about slavery, Lincoln would have issued the proclamation at the start of hostilities and not waited until 1863 to do so. Why do we fly the flag? We are proud of the sacrifices that these men made in behalf of their families. Why does the state of SC have the flag on its capitol grounds? The state is proud that its citizens answered the call to defend the state from its then enemies. Many thousands of South Carolinians died in service to the State of SC. It is fitting that South Carolina still pays respect to what it asked of its citizens. Now, I can guarantee you that many decendants of those soldiers also died for the USA in WW 1, WW 2, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq. Are those men white trash? Now as far as IQ goes I would venture that my IQ is higher than yours as I research the issues before I speak. I also have a degree from Virginia Tech and have had a successful career to date. Ok so im a 14 year old girl, and my mom always tells me how evil and vindictive I am. It actually makes me laugh when she says this hahah. Stopping pain medicine suddenly for no reason?

I have fibromyalgia, a condition that cause chronic pain through out the body for unknown reasons. I've been taking Methadone 5 mgs, twice a day plus Norco 5/325 for Breakthrough pain. I have a pain management contract for the doses noted. I have stayed loyal to this and to everything the doctor wanted. However, today when I went in and had to see a replacement for my primary care doctor, he wanted to stopped all of it, cold turkey and not give me anything for the pain I have daily. I managed to convince his boss to give me my medicine, but they both want me off of it, despite numerous previous doctors wanting to keep me on it. I live in California, and am on medi-cal and SSI for disability. Want to know who complain to, if I can sue, and what can I do to get the pain relief I need.

I have Dull ache and pressure feeling in my upper shin from running for many months. Bone Scan result are out.?

I had a stress fracture in my shin too, actually my tibia. I had a bone scan done and what it showed was a black spot on the bone where the fracture was.... most of the scan was light greyish to white but the place where i had the fracture was a small, round blackish spot on the inside of my shin where it hurt. If you can press on the bone in the sore spot, and you almost scream with pain than you know its a stress fracture. Also, if it throbs and wakes you up in the middle of the night, thats another sign. Mine hurt constantly with a dull ache. I hope to god you dont have one, I dont wish that on anyone its such a horrible injury because your out for months. Maybe cross train for a week and see what happens. Its better than to keep running on it so that it gets so bad you cant run for months like i did. Stupid, Stupid mistake.

My wife and I just bought a 40 year old house with a fireplace. The fireplace was just swept professionally before we moved in. I lit a fire the other day. For the first hour, it was great. Afterward when I added another log, smoke started billowing out and into my living room. The flue was open as was the damper. I also heated the inside of the chimney before I lit the fire. Does anyone know what the life expectancy is of a video card?

I've had my computer about 2 years now. About a year ago, the computer started shutting off on its own. The screen would first shut off with the message "No Signal" popping up. Then the computer would power down. I took it to a friend and he said the vid card was bad. He put in a 'really nice one' (i'm not at home since I don't know the exact name of it right now). He also reformatted it for me. Comp worked fine for about a year. Just recently, I stopped using the computer for a month or so because I just got so busy in life. I went to use it the other day. I turn the comp on and almost immediately, the screen pops off with the same message, "No Signal" then the computer powers down. This happens every time I try to start the comp up. I've checked all the cables, cords. Everything is hooked in. Surge works, outlet good, etc. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong? Is it the video card again? Is it common for them not to last long? Could it be the motherboard? Any advice I would appreciate. Thanks!

Will I be able to afford living in Seattle?

You should be OK. I hope you have actually seen the apartments. A $700-800 per month apartment in Seattle is quite cheap and may not be in a very desirable area. Utilities can be expensive. Comcast offers the best cablevision and high speed internet service but they are very expensive and keep raising their rates. Groceries are not bad if you avoid what we call the designer grocery stores like QFC. Your bus p will help a lot but you will want to look at King County Metro as you might even be able to get a cheaper p. We have a good bus system.

Opinion on 15 yr old attending college and high school at same time?

Okay im 15 yrs old and i have always been on Principles honor roll. I have an amazing average and a GPA of 4.3. I am currently a Sopre but i have 18 credits already. to graduate I have to have 24 credits, but to attend tech college i only have to have 20. So for the 2nd semester in my Junior yr i plan to attend college. My parents are indecisive about my decision because they dont know if a college setting would be right for me at my age. I know i can handle this situation but research shows that most teens who start college at an early level tend to live very stressful lives. I understand this consequence, but i really need to get a head start at college. I plan to become a Clinical Psychologist, which is 9 full yrs at a college. Along the way I am gonna get Law Degree, and become doctor. This is a huge goal but i know i can accomplish it. I have been taking honor courses since 8th grade. and i have at least 95 in every subject, including 100 in math. So i was wondering what is your opinion on 15 yr olds attending college?

The good news is that you don't have to change. You should never have to change for the right person. Eventually, you will find a girl who likes all the things that make you you, even your shyness. I would say to just be more open. If you like a girl, ask her out and maybe take a few more risks. Being out going isn't nearly as hard as it seems so just take the leap. I'll tell you know that girls date the rebels and bad boys up until their mid-twenties, but they will realize that those aren't the guys who will love them and treat them like respect, like you seem to be doing. Can my landlord refuse to let me take a roommate now, if when I moved in he agreed, if they had a reference?

just had my baby shower this weekend and I ended up with sooo many diapers. Can some of you mommies please let me know how many diapers in different sizes I may need? Need advice on ensuring tank saftey after fish death?

Sadly my Green Spotted Puffer ped away. I don't know why. He was in a brackish tank heater tank that was fully cycled when he entered. He did great eating snails and brine shrimp krill and the occasional treat of human grade shell on shrimp. But he stopped eating and I tried all I could to help him but he ped away. I had planted a few plant bulbs about an hour before he died and now they are growing fuzz so I'm thinking the tank is diseased somehow. I have kept the filter running and its been about 72 hours since he died. I would like to re stock the tank but I am scared to cause how do I know they will be safe. Also how long will the tank stay cycled with no fish should I add some amonia once in a while to feed the bacteria? My puffer showed no signs of anything except starvation. Please advise!

I work with idiots..?

so, I have determined I work with idiots. I work for oilfield instrumentation and IT company, and today I get a random call from a recruiter wanting me to interview for a job, in a Field I no longer work in, but the kicker, is that the recruiter got my information from a guy I work with, and I know for a fact he doesn't like me due to many conflicts and my higher level of experience. He called me to let me know that she called, wouldn't leave him alone, so he gave her my info...., which in most companies is a big NO NO. He has been fired from the Company before, and rehired, due to changes in management, and he is one of the bosses 'pets'. I am really ticked about him giving out my info, but don't want to piss anyone off, and put my job in jeopardy by reporting him. What would be the least abrasive route in pursuing this?

The diet can help, but if you feel you need to eat more, eat more. I'm not saying like 3 pieces of cake or something, but so that you have enough energy for the day. Put it this way: it takes you 36 continuos miles of walking to lose 1 pound. Say you walk 6 miles a day (running actually isn't good for you), you can lose one pound in 6 days. Jogging is OK, but walking is easier on your body. Also, try to limit drinking a lot, not just eating. Some of your weight is actually from liquids, believe it or not. Pace yourself, don't try to lose 10 pounds a week or something silly. It takes a while. So if you're losing 1 pound a week, it would take you 15 weeks, about 5 months. The diet should help to, cutting it down to around 4 months, if that. And don't start eating unhealthy when you've accomplished your task. I was in the army for 17 years, and it took me about a year to get to the weight that was required to be a ranger.

Husband now decided he want's another baby, but he is on the hospital waiting list for a vasectomy????

We already have 2 boys, aged 6 and 20 months. My husband agreed that he did not want any more children. We only have a 2 bedroom house and any more kids and we would have to move, especially if we had a girl. He is on the waiting list at the hospital for a vasectomy, and I am on the depot injection. I was not happy at him having the 'snip' as the decision should be made by both of us in my opinion. He was adamant he did not want anymore so went on the waiting list. He has now decided he is getting broody and would like 1 more child. After his drastic decision a few months ago, he now thinks I should agree with him to have another baby. I would of liked another child soon after my last son was born as I am 34 in March and it took me 2 years to get pregnant with last son after stopping having the depo injection. This means if I stop it again, I could be 36 before getting pregnant again and I think this is too old. Am I now the spiteful one for not wanting anymore now.

My (sort of) adoptive son approached me ually?

I'm 38/m and I have a son who is 16 and his best friend is 16. We've known his best friend for a while and we know he doesn't have a very good home life (his parents are devout Christians and he is gay, which they have a major issue with) so we have tried to take him in as much as possible (sometimes he's stayed as long as two months at our house without his parents so much as calling to see where he was). So we've come to the point that we consider him family and I see him as my own son. When he called me late at night to come get him, I came and got him because I heard his parents screaming in the background. When I got there, his mother was throwing plates at him out of the door in the yard (not gl plates, thick and heavy ceramic ones that weigh a good bit) and his dad started cursing at us. I exchanged some words back and we drove on. My son wasn't in town (he was with his school's program) so we had the house to ourselves. So I cooked dinner, we ate in the living room and watched some sports. About halfway through the game, he asked if he could sit next to me (I said sure because he was sitting on the other side of the room and I figured it was to see the tv better). He sat rather close and after a few seconds, he put his hand on my thigh (not my knee, my thigh). I looked over at him just as a reaction and he kissed me (nothing with tongue or anything, just lip to lip for maybe half a second). When I responded badly (which I admit I could have handled the situation a lot better than I did but I was extremely shocked), he just look kind of confused and told me that I must have wanted "it" (by "it", I guess he means ) because I wouldn't have been so nice to him for no reason. Immediately, I felt horrible because clearly he has no concept of people just being nice for the sake of being nice. So he went upstairs and I heard him crying in the bathroom for a while (and then I guess he went to sleep). I didn't go speak to him because I just really have no idea what to say to him to resolve this issue. I don't want to hurt him but for obvious reasons, I would never consider such a relationship. My husband and I are newly married. We lived together before and we argued some but now that we're married we seem to fight more often. I have a cousin who is THREE years old and she gets on my nerves all the time. She gets everything she wants, it's either her way or no way. If there's something she likes and someone has it, she would act all cute and ask if she can see it, and when they give it to her, she would not give it back whatsoever. She would cry for god knows how long, and her mom would get mad at that person, but not her daughter. What would cause a wheel to wobble?

There are several reasons and some of them depend on your definition of "wobble". None of the scenarios are good. 1) the wheel is bent, which signifies some kind of accident. 2) the tire is extremely out of balance, which will have a negative effect on the whole steering system. 3) the whole front end is totally shot, very expensive repair. Why does the power steering pump need to be repaired/replaced. They almost never go bad even with a minimum of maintainence. I'd think a while before buying this car. (personal opinion)

sounds like your a normal teenager. some kids go through puberty different, i was the same way. i took it really hard actually had to see a therapist because my whole thought process was just "screw it" nothing mattered i didnt wanna be around people and i rarely had conversation with my peers. whomever called you a wimp is a dummy. he simply is observing your behavior and because he is not a trained professional able to detect anxiety or depression your behavior doesnt make sense to him. so he spews stupidity out of his ignorant mouth and to him it makes sense but your not a wimp. it takes to post what u posted on the internet where everyones is a critical . i suggest you see a therapist and talk about everything thats bothering you. the therapist wont judge you. it sounds like you suffer from depression to me. depression causes lazy behavior and low self esteem that would make you hate yourself. i worked in a detention center awhile ago i seen kids with depression and kids with horrible anger problems. my boss told me that the second the kids sensed weakness they would pounce. so sometimes even if you dont feel charasmatic or care free,,, you just gotta act like you do.

I recently came back to work after a 6 month mission trip. On my first day back, I was unable to log-in to the computer. We commonly use other's log in number to input stats. I asked a friend of mine to log me in while my istant sup. was sitting next to her. He immediately asked me to go get him a cup of coffee (weird request) I dont think he knew we were friends. When I got back into the room, all conversation stopped. The next day, my friend told me that he said I was a liar and not to trust me. She asked me why he would say such things and I honestly have no idea. I am a Christian-I treat people as I want to be treated. I was so shocked and upset, I told my lead supervisor and encouraged her to do the same. She did but now she wants me to drop it. My supervisor said he must take this to HR but my friend said if I do she will no longer be my friend. She is worried of what discrimination she will face by our istant sup. I feel he has been saying these rumors about me to others.

Dog etiquette - is this rude?

I am in my twenties, living with my boyfriend - we are not married. Since we just moved into a new place, we have wanted to invite friends and family over to visit, but the problem seems to lie with my boyfriend's sister. She has two dogs, which are not very well-behaved at all. They are both extremely attached to the sister to the point of being neurotic. They won't even go near another human being without acting scared or running away. They also have not learned to go to the bathroom outside, and often have accidents inside the house. She tends to blame the dog and doesn't understand why they "don't get it," but I know it is because the dogs don't receive proper discipline and training (hence the reason both of them are so neurotic). My boyfriend has mentioned to her that we would like to have her and her husband over for dinner one night, and she agreed, but followed with a comment such as "sure, us and the dogs would love to come visit!" Now I personally find this to be extremely rude. We have just moved into a brand new condo, with brand new carpets. We never invited the dogs - just the two of them. How do I resolve this? I do want to have the sister and her husband over for dinner, but it seems they won't come without the dogs. I think it is incredibly rude to just ume your misbehaving dogs are welcome in someone else's place without an invitation, but I don't want to cause bad feelings with the family. What do you think?

I have a dear friend whose sister (only 35 yrs old) is dying of colon cancer. It is in Stage 4. She has medical insurance, but they won't pay for the treatment/surgery and subsequently, the doctors won't provide treatment without guaranteed payment. Well, I don't find the idea of making cancer awareness offensive, but using the phrase "Ta-Ta's" doesn't help. The thing is, there is a better way to make your cause known. Using that phrase is a bit racy because usually the word "Ta-Ta's" is used by many males, and the males that use it are the one's who demean women. So I think its the phrase that is offensive. But you are doing a good thing by making others aware of the need to find a cure and have women be checked. Its the phrase that takes away from the point.

Troubles marching tenor saxophone?

How long before my chicken eggs hatch after wobbling and cheeping?

Yesterday was day 21 of incubation for our eggs. We woke up and they were wobbling around. I kept close eye on the incubator, anxious to see some sort of progress. By bedtime, they were cheeping from inside the shell. I was hoping that by this morning, I would see signs of pipping, but now it's been about 31 hours of them wobbling and cheeping, with no pipping. This will make day 22. The temperature and humidity have been adequate, I stopped turning at day 18 and the parents are free range, healthy, non-inbred chickens. Any clues as to if I'm doing anything wrong?

60amp electrical panel upgrade?

I am not sure if I should upgrade to a 100amp or 200amp panel. The house is approx 1800sq feet and there are currently six circuit breakers.. I think the hole house needs to be rewired at some point but right now since my current box is missing the inside panel I was told that I should upgrade for safety reasons.. The price difference between upgrading to a 200amp instead of the 100amp is $300. Since the home is a fixer upper I rather spend the $300 elsewhere unless the 200amp will make a difference... does anyone know if a 100amp panel will become obsolete in the next 10yrs? A contractor told me that a 200amp will increase the resale value.. thanks!
