What are iambic feet?

OK. Verse can be divided into feet. They mark out the stresses on the syllables, so how the line is to be spoken. There are a number of different feet, but an iambic foot has one short or unstressed syllable followed by a long or stressed one. Simplifying the definition of blank verse., deca means ten so each line should have ten syllables divided into 5 of these iambic feet. This means that a) and e) are in iambic feet. Say them aloud, stressing every other syllable to get the idea and hear the rhythm. Sorry I don't have a copy of Macbeth (The Scottish Play), but you should be able to find 3 lines of 10 syllables each in that thythm. Hope this helps.
