How much does the average couple argue?

My husband and I are newly married. We lived together before and we argued some but now that we're married we seem to fight more often. Usually its about once a night, alot of times its just bickering, but sometimes its bad and we dont talk all night. never anything physical and screaming at eachother. just wondering if this is common in newlyweds to argue this much or if we're worst than most. we love eachother deeply and when we're not fighting we're the happiest couple around, but when we fight its horrible. most of the time our fighting is over stupid things, and it seems like alot of our fights is about how to do things not to aggravate the other one. not cleaning up our own dishes, spending too much time on the computer, me being to bossy, etc. nothing major. how often does a typical couple argue and is it usually over big things, or smaller things that are rediculous?
