Was last night's Eastenders particularly controversial?!?

firstly i didnt find it outrageous but i must say i wouldnt have wanted children to have seen mad may it would have given them nightmares! And secondly for some people that dont understand the resemblence with madddy abduction.....its because there isnt any, as this person said in the question the storyline was REWRITTEN last month to the storyline we have seen. Both coronation street and eastenders had kidnappings coro was freddie getting kidnapped but it was changed to the fire and eastenders was may kidnapping dawns baby but that has been changed to this. there was warning about what was going to happen, if u go onto www.digitalspy.com it tells u what is going to happen for about 6 episodes on all soaps. As others have said some people complain about anything!
