Reaccuring dreams.. what do they mean?

for years i keep having two reacurring dreams. they happen randomly.. no patter.. it just happens.. they are different dreams but the same thing happens in both. One dream i am in trouble and i pick up the phone and no matter what i dial i can not call the cops. i get different numbers and im panicking but i just cant get a hold of the police. then i have a nother dream where im really tiered and i cant open my eyes. things are going on and i try so hard to open my eyes but for some reason i cant. It hurts too.
