Can some one help me out? Its a crush problem?

I really liked this guy. I went out with him 2 times and he always would be nice. Theres something about him that is nice with me and hes sweet. but the thing is he goes behind my back and says he doest like me at all (this was the 1st time) and the 2nd time i went out with him the same thing happened. i need advice i feel like im falling for him again(3rd time) but then i dont want to. like my heart says i love him and my mind whispered hes only going to hurt me. and like idk i think i could try it again if the time comes but idk i need help.
